2020 is an extraordinary year due to the pandemic. We are working to provide you a summer experience that will let you all enjoy the sun and forget the difficult times that the world is going through. 

Greece has managed to successfully contain the spread of the virus in the country and Tourism-related businesses have opened since June 1st. Kefalonia especially appears to be one of the least affected areas in the whole country with only 4 cases between March and July 2015 (data from the last update on July 15th https://eody.gov.gr/wp-content/uploads/2020/07/daily-report-COVID-19_15.07.2020.pdf

Choosing a private villa for your holidays is of course the safest choice since our villas offer a solid social distancing and privacy.

We would like to inform you that have changed our booking and cancellation policy and we are taking a set of measures and precautions in order to keep our guests and personnel safe.

In terms of booking and cancellation policy we will not charge any deposit and you will be able to cancel for free up until a day before your arrival. The total booking fee will be collected during your stay, paid by card or cash on site. Of course the sooner you will let us know of any change of plans the more we would appreciate it.

For already prepaid bookings we are happy to issue a rebooking for a later date of your choice (and adjust your price to the relevant lower price scale applicable). Refunding can also be negotiated in communication with us.

In terms of health and safety we’ll be following a protocol that includes:

  • A minimum of two days between bookings during which the villas will be sufficiently aired and cleaned using proper disinfectant products like bleach on all areas (in other words we will be making the villas unavailable to other guests for two days before and after each booking). Air-conditioning filters will be also disinfected according to the relevant protocols.
  • A reduced cleaning service during your stay from 2 per week to 1 per week so that you will have less contact with people outside your family / company of guests. Our cleaning service will be done taking all hygiene measures on behalf of our personnel and in communication with you during a time you will be away from the villas. You can always opt out from the service during your stay and all necessary cleaning products will be provided to you upon demand. New towels and linens will be provided twice a week as standard.
  • As part of our usual practice even before the current situation, our towels and linens are washed at at a professional service and returned enclosed in sealed plastic bags.
  • We are following WHO recommendations for indoors surfaces cleaning and Greek authorities guidelines for the wider precautions on health and safety of guests and personnel
  • We are registered with a certified local doctor who is a contact point for COVID-19 and will be available to examine and advice any guest with symptoms (charges will apply).
  • All relevant information regarding the communication details of the doctor or the island health structures and authorities, as well as health guidelines will be available to you (posted on the wall in each villa) and we will be there to offer our support in case of any health incident
  • We are following all the relevant directives issued by the Greek ministry of Health and the ministry of tourism and updating our protocols and this page accordingly.

*** IMPOTRANT NOTE FOR ALL ARRIVING GUESTS: The Greek authorities demand from all international travellers the completion of an online  Passenger Locator Form (PLF) 48 house prior to your arrival. You can complete the form on this page: https://travel.gov.gr/#/  It is also strongly recommended that all visitors download the Visit Greece app (GDPR compliant) for free, prior their arrival in Greece.
